Lyneshia Smith was my nurse on my 3rd-night stay. When she came into my room, I could just feel the kindness and caring that resonated on her smiling face as she introduced herself.
Under her care that night, I felt as though she had read my file and knew exactly when to check on me. I never had to tell her I needed my pain medication. She came in to check on me as if she knew. She also suggested I sleep in the recliner that night, which I did. It was the first night I got some rest. I was lucky to get Lyneshia on my last night stay.
She is such a caring individual that takes the time to get to know her patients. That is a strength that all nurses should practice. Lyneshia is a natural at her job. She possesses skills that can't be learned. These are gifts from the heart. I was so blessed to have Lyneshia my last 2 nights at Mercy West. Out of all my nurses, she was a standout naturally!
Lyneshia was my favorite nurse because she possesses a natural ability to help Mercy West obtain their goals for their patients - to be well in mind, body, and spirit. She is an exceptional nurse with very high natural standards to provide patients with excellent, high-quality care.
Her personal, caring demeanor, radiant smile of positivity, knowledge of her patient, promptness, kindness and just her natural ability to be a nurturing individual makes her an extraordinary nurse that Mercy Health West is very lucky to have on their staff. Thank you.
