I have chronic pancreatitis and have had many hospitalizations. I was scheduled for surgery, but it was delayed because I got the flu. I had what I call an "explosion" of my pancreatitis. It was a major flare up which was very painful with a lot of vomiting. I was very under medicated. The night nurse tried to work with the hospitalist to get me on my normal medications without success. Lynette came in the next morning and within an hour had all my medications sorted out. Once I was started on the proper medications I began to feel better, have less nausea and be able to eat again.
Lynette comes in and checks on me all the time. She makes sure I'm okay and have everything I need. She is constantly educating me on different methods to make me more comfortable. She is always smiling and very comforting. She is AWESOME and such a hard worker.
