We had a male patient who was in his mid-50's. He already had one kidney removed due to cancer and during his admission, they discovered a mass on his other kidney. The RN, Lynette, sat with him and talked and listened to him about his concerns. He knew Lynette cared deeply about what he was telling her and the day he was discharged he told her he will never forget her for her compassion and for making him feel hopeful. Lynette is always upbeat, friendly, and helpful to everyone and truly cares about all of her patients.
