Not only did Lynette take on hundreds of patients, she assumed new leadership roles in our program and onboarded, trained, and mentored an entirely new fleet of nurses.
Lynette has been an integral part of our section for many years, and a key member of our HIV program. In the midst of our most senior nurse retiring, we also lost 50% of our remaining nursing working force across 3 different clinic sites. Lynette and one other nurse member held all 3 clinics together in so many ways. Not only did Lynette take on hundreds of patients, she assumed new leadership roles in our program and onboarded, trained, and mentored an entirely new fleet of nurses. She continues to be a rock for our patients and colleagues. She never complains, never falters, and continues to provide exemplary care to our patients. From the patient perspective, their transition to new nurses appeared seamless. From our employees, her unwavering dedication to our program has been invaluable to its continued success.
