Lynette helped me stay calm and told me what steps to take.
I firmly believe that Lynette saved my life. On the Monday night before my surgery for cataracts, I developed an allergic reaction to something. After taking Benadryl throughout the night, by the next morning, I was having a systemic reaction. I even had hives in my mouth. I was just getting ready to call the Rescue Squad when Lynette called for my pre-surgery interview. I mentioned taking the Benadryl all night and the hives. She looked at my drug allergy list and realized that I was reacting to my eye drops. I was able, then, to take steps to get my eye drops changed and get medication for the hives. I thought the reaction was from something I had eaten. If I had called the Rescue Squad and gone to the hospital, I don't believe they would have figured it out that it was eye drops quickly. I may have been ok, but I know it would have taken a while to discover the problem. Instead, I was able to take measures to clear up the problem. Lynette helped me stay calm and told me what steps to take.
