Lynette Santaliz, RN
During an emergency visit at Lakeland Regional Hospital at 20 weeks pregnant with twins, I met Lynette. From our first interaction, Lynette showed genuine concern and empathy for our situation.
After previous unsuccessful attempts by other staff to place a urinary catheter, Lynette carefully explained her concerns and successfully completed the procedure with skill and sensitivity, greatly improving my comfort. On the second night of our stay, I delivered both of our babies. Throughout labor and delivery, Lynette provided clear guidance, teaching me how to breathe through contractions and how to push, while remaining calm and supportive.
During an incredibly painful and heartbreaking moment, Lynette’s gentle voice, patience, and compassionate presence brought comfort when words were insufficient. Her kindness and dedication left a lasting impact on my family and I. I will forever be grateful for her care, and I firmly believe she exemplifies the highest standards of nursing excellence.
