She is one of, if not the best, mental health advocates we’ve seen. She is so funny and insightful, we couldn’t have gotten through this without her.
After 12 years as a heart patient, I have seen dozens of healthcare professionals, most of whom were very informative and caring. However, Lynn has truly been the most impressive of all. For lack of a better word, Lynn was not a so-called, “Kiss Ass” trying to make brownie points. She was straightforward with everything she had to say and she spoke in simple terms so you were able to understand the medical jargon that usually goes over my head. While presently going through menopause, I have been experiencing bouts of depression, anxiety, and of course hot flashes. At one point I was having anxiety AND hot flashes. Lynn said to hang tight, she would be right back. She returned with cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil and told me to apply them to the sides of my neck. Within 30 seconds I began to feel relief. Keep in mind that this was just one of many situations where Lynn made a truly “meaningful difference” in my stay. Thank you, Lynn!

My fiance came in late last night with several deep face lacerations, we quickly found out plastics wouldn’t be able to sew him up until the morning - he started to have panic attacks in the early AM when we were pushed back until the evening due to a busy day. She is one of, if not the best, mental health advocates we’ve seen. She is so funny and insightful, we couldn’t have gotten through this without her. She ended up being our night nurse again tonight. And she has been such a joy! She has continuously helped us through every anxiety attack or obstacle we hit without stumbling.

My mother was a patient of Lynn’s and I am grateful for the care and attention she gave to my mother. Her calming voice and positive attitude put us both at ease. Lynn noticed immediately the bond both mother and I have and provided me with a recliner for my overnight stay. She is funny and caring and very knowledgeable….and we are blessed to have met her and we know that all the patients before us and after us will consider themselves blessed as well. Thank you! Lynn made me feel so comfortable from the moment she introduced herself to me. I was nervous after being transferred from the ER, and her sweet personality and jokes made me feel better. You can tell she has a heart of gold. All nurses are amazing but Lynn has something very special. She has a love for her job. Thank you for taking care of me and all those that need medical attention and assistance. We need more nurses like Lynn. Thank you Chandler Regional for Lynn Jensen.
