The genuine care, calmness, compassion, inclusion, and excellence of patient care are why I want to thank Lynn Jensen. I had a respiratory emergency around midnight. I could not breathe in or out during a breathing treatment. She calmly and professionally told me lots of team members would be coming in and everything was going to happen very quickly. She told me "Don’t panic, look at me and breathe with me". She locked eyes and was able to slow my heart rate down. I would have probably ended up intubated if not for Lynn. Her sincere passion for nursing is amazing. I’m a 7-time cancer survivor. She is the best nurse I’ve had in the valley. I’ve been in at least 4 hospitals, and have now had fifty-one surgeries. She not only served our country in the military, she is a personal hero. She is an amazing nurse, very professional, and has a kind soul. She is an incredible person.
