Nurse Lynn to me represents what a nurse at Dr. Phillips Orlando Health should be: I have stayed there many times and she stood out among the rest; her knowledge of her surroundings and her knowledge about different things at the hospital was outstanding.
Mrs. Lynn to me wasn't just a nurse, she was an angel. I have been admitted here in Dr. Phillips many times, but I have also had some not so memorable times. My background is hospitality/I am a chef/Restaurant manager who cares about people. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, right here at Dr. Phillips. Thankful to you guys at D.P., I am cancer-free after 6 months of chemo.
Mrs. Lynn entered my room that Saturday morning, she introduced herself and proceeded to tell me what she will be helping me with, and etc. Finally, she asked if I had any questions or concerns, I expressed to her I had issues with the service on the night before, and she explained in a Southern hospitality way that we here at Orlando Health we try to provide the best care as possible, and we are for all your needs. And that touched my heart! I told Mrs. Lynn my issues and she told me she will speak to her head nurse and she will be glad to assist me. And later that day, the nurse manager stopped by; and she did her part. So at this time, I'm feeling better.
I was feeling down, missing my family and work, out of nowhere Mrs. Lynn and the crew surprised me with a mini parade, cards, pendants, and the American Song. She pulled her team together to honor me on Veteran's Day. Nurse Lynn and Dr. Phillips Hospital, I am very appreciative of all of the great services I received throughout these last 7 visits. I met so many wonderful people here at the Dr. Phillips, and they're all very professional. But my MVP is Mrs. Lynn.
