Lynn has been such a caring and empathetic nurse throughout my entire treatment for Breast Cancer. I have multiple stories about the exceptional care she gave me, specifically I want to share one that meant a lot to me during my treatment.

I met Lynn at the Infusion Center, she was regularly my infusion nurse when I would go in for my Chemotherapy Treatments. Being diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer, I was afraid and anxious. I tried my hardest to be positive and calm but one day at infusion I felt so anxious and overwhelmed I could not stop crying to explain how scared I was. Lynn immediately sat down next to hold my hand and validated my feelings; she said she was there for me and explained I was not in this alone. She took the time to really listen that morning and it meant so much having someone say, “I know this is scary, we are going to get through this together. I am here for you.” I felt so taken care of each time I have been in her presence.

As a nurse myself, I only hope I can make my patients feel as good as she has made me feel. Lynn is a true inspiration, and I will never forget the amazing care she gave me.
