I would like to thank Lynn for her responsiveness to both my mother, who was in her care, and to me. My mom had a massive stroke and was in distress. Lynn helped her by making her as comfortable as possible. She tried her best to be in communication with me to learn my and my mom's wishes. This was difficult to do as I was traveling.
When it became clear that we wanted no special life-saving measures taken, she did what she could to make the last days and hours as comfortable as they could be for my mom.
And then she had to make the call to me that my mom had passed. I so appreciated her sensitivity in relaying this message - so very kind.
I can hardly imagine how tough it is to be both a caregiver to a patient as well as a communicator to all sorts of family members. I know that Lynn is one of several of your nurses and doctors who do this as their profession. I thank you so much for this service you do for us.
