Lynn was nominated by a colleague from 7 West who observed her working with a young patient from her unit. This patient was having a very difficult time, and in the midst of a crazy day Lynn took the time to speak one-on-one with the patient, give comforting words and make the patient feel better about being in the hospital and having to go through a long and difficult hospitalization. The nurse who nominated Lynn was truly touched by this gesture that showed such exceptional care that goes beyond the call of duty. Congratulations to Lynn!
