This month's Daisy recipient, Lynn Wolters, received two wonderful nominations. The first nomination was from Christina Steward who works with Lynn on a daily basis. Christina wrote about Lynn's compassion and the skill she displays daily in her role as a Comprehensive Guided Care Nurse. The other nomination was from Deanna Mokosak, who together with Lynn was a first responder to a shooting victim just outside their office two months ago. Deanna witnessed Lynn doing "what her heart told her to do, putting herself in danger to try and save the life of another human being." Deanna added, "She was strong, confident, and compassionate in all she did to provide emergency care to a dying young man. I am proud that she works with me at Advantage Health/Saint Mary's Medical Group. It was a privilege for me to be there with her to help another person in their time of need. I think Lynn's example demonstrated on this day was an act of compassion, heroism and selfless courage."
