Let me take a moment to say thank you very much — you are an excellent nurse. I should have written this nomination years ago. You are one of the stars that will lighten up my nursing career path. Thank you for being my preceptor about 12 years ago. I didn’t take it for granted. You are such an excellent nurse. A comprehensive, amazing nurse. You bathe your patients, teach a new nurse, and be proactive to start doing wound rounds on Saturday, even if you rarely work a Sunday (maybe only once a year?). I lost track of how often you assisted me to shower a patient at 7 p.m. while we were short PCTs. You sign up to work extra shifts or stay behind if we are short-staffed. You came early to release me a few times during the summer due to my family schedule. I appreciate you. Your intention is to provide the best care for patients and help others.
