She truly listened and took action to make my stay more comfortable.
Lynnette was such a breath of fresh air after dealing with some challenges when I came into the hospital. Lynette was my night nurse once I was moved to the 6th floor. I was telling her my previous nightmare and how the nurses could not access my port for blood and meds. The veins in my arms were poor and the IV attempts were causing me a lot of bruising and discomfort.
Lynnette called around asking for an order to access my port and even went to different departments asking for help. Who else does this? No one! Then, after going over the chemo meds that I am on at home, but had not yet received, I was feeling worse. I am terminally ill with cancer and I was actually given a few months to live with the recommendation to end all treatment, just a few hours earlier in the day. I was a mess with not having my meds and no way to maintain comfort. Lynnette worked at getting one of my medicines increased and after not sleeping and having high anxiety, I asked what we can do if anything. She said, “let me work on it.” Well, Lynnette did it again! She told me that we were going to try an anti-anxiety med with the hope that I can finally get some sleep. So yes, Lynnette went above and beyond for me! She truly listened and took action to make my stay more comfortable.

Lynnette was amazing with my daughter who had double jaw surgery. We were blessed to have her two nights in a row. She handled my daughter with such great care. She listened to her and was very friendly. We could tell that she genuinely cared about her comfort. The first two days after surgery were challenging and she helped us both get through it. When my daughter shared that she was a CNA, Lynnette talked with her about her career and aspirations and encouraged her to keep going! Thank you, Lynnette! We can tell that you absolutely love your profession.

Lynnette went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and provided excellent, prompt care. She took the time to explain things to me and answered any questions I had without hesitation, despite having a great number of other patients to care for, during her shift.
