My son was admitted due to a high fever. My son also has autism and was very resistant and not cooperative in almost all the procedures. I understand that not everyone will understand my son’s condition, but Nurse Lyra went the extra mile to understand my son’s needs. She made sure that we got all the support we needed and asked us what his favorite drink was so she could inform the dietary department. But what made my heart really happy was when Nurse Lyra remembered my son’s favorite song when we played it and how it made my son calm. This might be a small thing for some, but as a mother of an autistic boy, this means a lot to me; I appreciate everyone who understands my son’s needs, and that’s why I appreciate Nurse Lyra so much.
