Lyriel Jordan, RN
My mom, who is 85 years old, has been struggling all week after a UTI and low sodium. She has been moved between the ICU, the oncology wing, and now the cardiac floor. While all of the care in the cardiac wing has been spectacular, Lyriel has had a way with my mom that has both touched my heart as her daughter, but has made me believe in stellar healthcare, no matter your age.
We have been told by some that my mom’s case is "complicated", but Lyriel only made us believe that she would get better and better and coached us on how to get her to that point. From nutrition to positioning to cognitive measures ,Lyriel has helped us to feel confident in my Mom's ability to continuously improve. She takes care to not only address the needs of my mom, the patient, but also those whom she loves.
Lyriel is a stellar role model for all of nursing. We are so grateful for her loving care.
