I arrived at Rancho Los Amigos as a patient after suffering a stroke that left me paralyzed on my left side. I was admitted to the 2nd floor, where I was introduced to Ms. Shealy as my primary nurse. From the moment I met her, I remember her warm smile and polite demeanor. With her Filipino accent, she said, "I will be your nurse," and we instantly connected.

Every day, Ms. Shealy cared for me with a perfect blend of kindness, professionalism, and wit. She always knew exactly what she was doing during each treatment, and we shared many laughs and jokes, which made the time pass quickly. She cared for me as if I were one of her own, making me feel comfortable and at ease. I'm sure she treats all her patients with the same level of compassion and dedication.

I am deeply grateful to her for everything she did for me. I believe that without her care, my recovery wouldn't have been possible. I have no doubt that Ms. Shealy will continue to treat future patients with the same professionalism and heart that she showed me.
