Genalin is most deserving of the DAISY Award. She serves as a coach/mentor for many new employees. She takes coaching and mentoring to a whole new level. She is very caring toward her patients/families and co-workers. She is an excellent resource. She detects subtle changes in patient's condition and communicates with doctors. She provides novice nurses with critical thinking tips and makes sure they have her personal cell# to call her if they are feeling overwhelmed. Her calm and professional manner alleviates the greatest fears. She helps to plan welcoming social events for new employees. She is readily available to help everyone.
