Mabel Otamias, RN

The Veteran's spouse highly praised Mabel for “going above and beyond her duties” in the care she provided to her spouse during his dialysis treatment. She stated the following, “My husband often speaks of the many things she (Mabel) does to keep his spirits lifted and to keep him comfortable. He told me that one day he was cramping really bad (one of the side effects of dialysis), and she massaged him until the cramping subsided…Every time it seems she (Mabel) has already gone the ‘extra´ mile, she exceeds that!”
