Mackenzie walked me through the entire process beforehand and told me what to expect.
Mackenzie was an incredible nurse during my daughter's preterm labor. Regardless of the situation, she was quick to tell her patient about everything that was happening and what was expected to happen, which you could tell was her normal habit. However, add in the anxiety and fears of preterm labor, and she was absolutely the most comforting and supportive person we could have asked for. She was accommodating yet policy and procedure-driven. She explained every response thoroughly so as a family was following all rules and policies yet kept close by, informed, and engaged in all aspects of the situations at the patient's request. She could answer questions not only clinically but also continue to explain in layman's terms so that everyone understood the situation, both present and future. This girl went above and beyond the expectations of any nurse! She alone made our family's horrible situation as positive an experience as possible.

I delivered my baby prematurely at 19 weeks pregnant, and Mackenzie walked me through the entire process beforehand and told me what to expect. She reassured me the entire time that I had this and was strong enough to get through this. She made sure I had a ton of pictures and videos of my baby and every detail of her. She told me how perfect and beautiful she was and how good of a job I did. She held my hand and gave me the most incredible support. Even though I had the most heartbreaking labor and delivery, she made my first experience with labor truly wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better nurse and person to take care of me and my family. I'm so incredibly grateful for Mackenzie.
