My mom had been in the ICU for a week and was looking pretty rough. Upon deciding to put her on hospice and remove life support without being asked, Mackenzie bathed her, washed her hair, and cleaned her up. We were so touched by this because so many family and friends were coming to visit. Mackenzie went out of her way to make sure she looked nice. It was totally unexpected and not something we had asked for, but it made such a big difference for us. She took the initiative to do this out of the kindness of her heart , thinking ahead about what could help our family. She doesn’t even know the difference it made to all of us.
