In my almost 33 years of living with sickle cell anemia, I have seen the good, bad, and the ugly. I've dealt with rude people. Sickle cell is bad enough. From day one of having Mackenzie, I fell in love with her. She's patient. She's kind. She's loving and caring, and I could just go on and on and on about her, but I don't have to do that on this paper, because I gave her flowers face to face every day that I had her. Mackenzie is a DAISY Nurse because she doesn't treat you like a nobody. She treats you like she's caring for a loved one and how she would want to be treated if she was the one in the hospital. Mackenzie is by far one of the best nurses I have ever had, and I am pleased and honored to have called her my nurse!

Mack, as she would like to be called, is a ray of sunshine. When I call for help, she comes with a smile on her face. There should be more nurses like her to make your life bearable. Thank you, Mack.
