I am nominating Kenzie because of the exceptional care and compassion they demonstrated during my family member's time as a patient on 10EW. From the moment I arrived, Kenzie has made my family members not only cared for but truly valued. One of the most memorable moments was when my family member was anxious about her abdominal ultrasound procedure, not knowing what to expect. Kenzie took the time to sit with her and explain everything, answering all of her questions, no matter how small. Kenzie's calming presence helped ease her fears, and I could sense genuine empathy through her actions. Throughout my family member's stay, Kenzie was always attentive, checking in regularly, offering words of encouragement, and even keeping us updated with all aspects of care. I will always be grateful to have someone who looked out for my family member the way she did.
