My mother-in-law, who has been fighting stage 4 Breast Cancer went to the ER for bad side effects of a last resort chemotherapy pill. She was admitted and had Maddie in the ICU as her nurse for 3 days. We usually have poor experiences with medical providers due to her being severely hard of hearing, but Maddie made it more than easy. Although she was feeling horrible at first Maddie told her everything, she was doing step by step and the reasons why. Maddie did her job efficiently and effectively. She did it so well that when another staff came in to draw some blood from her port, my mother-in-law asked if Maddie could do it because she had developed such a trusting relationship with her. Any time there was a question, she was able to either answer it or find the answer in a timely manner. When I wasn't able to be there, she called me to let me know what was going on. We really appreciate Maddie and the best care she provided!
