Our mother was brought to Twin Cities. She was 79 years old and had lived a wonderful life. She’s old school, kind, respectful and was one of the sweetest women you could ever hope to meet. Upon arriving she had one of the brightest and most compassionate nurses we could have hoped for, Maddie Toste. Upon my arrival an hour later it was obvious that my mom was very sick. As an nurse myself I was watchful and tried not to impede her care. Upon speaking with Maddie we learned she was a new grad. If she had not told us we wouldn’t have known because she owned the room and the patient. She always took time to listen to Mom’s complaints and she pulled in help immediately.
