Madee cared for our husband and father who was the first positive COVID-19 patient in Muskingum County. Madee advocated for him and went above and beyond to make sure he got the attention he needed. She fought for him to get therapy even when it involved challenging her superiors.
She coordinated his discharge planning and was there every step of the way. She walked him down to the patient discharge exit and he felt confident with her. She showed us what it takes to be an extraordinary CCU nurse. If there were many more Madee's out there, every patient would feel loved and cared for.
