Maddy brought me two coats from home to ensure one would fit and that I wouldn't freeze while walking to be with my daughter.
My daughter was in a life-threatening car accident. I rushed from South Carolina to be with her. Maddy always answered my questions no matter how many times I would ask them. She was patient and kind, ensuring that K was taken care of and that I received updates on her progress.

Maddy went above and beyond her duty when it snowed. My car would not drive in snow, and I did not have the clothes to wear for snow. She and I were talking, and I explained I would be walking from the Ronald McDonald house due to not being able to drive.

Maddy brought me two coats from home to ensure one would fit and that I wouldn't freeze while walking to be with my daughter. I can write 1000 instances where Maddie was exceptional in not only the care of my daughter, but her care for me as well.

I was scared and uncertain of my daughter’s future, and Maddy always found a way to calm me down and reassure me she would be ok. I am crying as I am writing this because I will always be forever grateful to Maddy and her staff for giving the best care my daughter could ask for.

It is because of Maddy and her team that my daughter has progressed as well as she has. Thank you, Maddy, for all that you did for our family! We will never forget the kindness you showed me in the worst time of my life. Thank you for making me feel like family at UofL!
