Madeline S Burnett, RN

I had surgery in November and was in the recovery room for around 6 hours. All of the nursing staff were great. They all demonstrated PETALS criteria. I thanked all of them after I was discharged. I specifically want to recognize Maddie, my recovery nurse. Maddie was caring, attentive, very pleasant, and had a beautiful smile, making my recovery much easier. She explained the recovery routine and was timely in her schedule to check on my vitals and my requests. I was naturally worried about my procedure and the recovery, but Maddie's professionalism and compassion made my hospital experience the best it could be. I wanted to let the Administration know what an asset she truly is to Sentara MJH!
