Maddie showed us an extraordinary level of care and compassion. My mother was dying, and Maddie’s competence and kindness were pivotal to my ability to cope with a very distressing time. Maddie was personable and punctual with the medications that were keeping mom comfortable. She explained the process of the body dying in terms I could understand and helped me support my mom and myself. She was amazing! In essence, she de-mystified the process my mom was experiencing in a way that was loving and clinical but instrumental to my ability to cope. And after 72 hours of crying, it was a blessing.
