Recently, when we experienced the loss of a patient, Madilyn Miletello went above and beyond her responsibilities as a bedside nurse. Her actions demonstrated exceptional compassion and care.
This patient did not have family present. Madilyn refused to let our patient be alone in the final hours. She stayed by his side and held him in her arms for the better part of the day until he passed from this life. Her unwavering presence and kindness during such a profound moment went far beyond her responsibilities as a nurse. Her actions reflect the highest standards of nursing excellence and humanity, making her truly deserving of recognition.
