Madison goes above and beyond for her patients and families, and truly shows how much she cares, how empathetic she is, and you can clearly see how much she loves to be a nurse.
Our baby girl was born early, and due to her prematurity, she had to be admitted to the NICU for seven weeks. The longest seven weeks of our lives. Although every single nurse and provider took care of our baby girl with so much care and compassion, Madison made our family feel whole and like a family even though we weren't at home and our birth story was not what it was supposed to be.

Our little one was my, and my fiancé's first baby and we were so excited to be able to do all the firsts with her: bathe her, take newborn pictures, and get in all of the cuddles.

Because our baby was in the NICU, we weren't always able to be there with our baby. Our baby got her first bath when she had finally been cleared from needing IV fluids, and unfortunately, we weren't there. Madison made a plan with us and helped us give our baby her first bath the next day. She even took pictures of us as a family to remember the day. She didn't seem one bit stressed, as if we had taken time away from her day or other little babies. She made us her priority for that moment, and I will forever be thankful for her. Madison didn't stop with her care and generosity there; another day, she was assigned to our little one. Our little girl decided to pull her NG out, and she happened to be "tubeless," and we hardly got to see her that way during our seven weeks. We had left our baby that night to get some rest. My fiancé headed to work the next morning, and I headed to the hospital to see our girl. When I walked in, my eyes filled with tears. Madison had taken beautiful newborn pictures of our baby. They looked so professional.

Madison goes above and beyond for her patients and families, and truly shows how much she cares, how empathetic she is, and you can clearly see how much she loves to be a nurse. We are lucky to have had her as a nurse and, more importantly, so thankful to have felt how safe and cared for our baby girl was under Madison's care.
