During a particularly difficult time, when my father’s condition worsened and we were told that he might not survive due to rapidly progressing lymphoma, his nurse showed remarkable compassion and support. She consistently checked in on him and on our entire family, offering not only excellent clinical care but also the emotional support we needed to cope with such devastating news.

My father is still an inpatient, and while we are unsure when he will be discharged, she has been his nurse for at least five or six days. Each day, she comes in with a warm smile, ensures he receives the care he needs, and encourages him to stay motivated and complete the tasks recommended by his care team.

She goes above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable and maintains his dignity. Rather than simply handing him supplies, she takes the time to help him get cleaned up properly. Despite her busy schedule, she consistently assists the PCA and other staff members with his care during every shift.

We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, kindness, and professionalism. Words cannot fully express how much her care has meant to our family.
