Not only was she kind, considerate, and thoughtful with our family, but she was also professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in her care of our dad.
Our Dad was hospitalized through the ED, by way of ambulance for seizures that developed into multiple cardiac events and, ultimately, kidney failure. We first met Madison in his room. She is a bright, cheerful ball of energy - exactly what we needed in our fearful navigation of the extreme rollercoaster Dad was on health-wise! Over several days and a room change, Madison was always thorough, calm, helpful, and, again, very kind. Whether she was triaging for emergency medicine during cardiac events or checking on how much dinner Dad ate in calmer times, she was clean and professional but thoughtful and always encouraging! Even up to the day that was her last day, she was encouraging the family and my dad that he could recover! The Lord had other plans, and my dad did pass, but I believe we will always compare and hold Madison up as the standard of nursing care in any medical situation - it's a very high standard! Not only was she kind, considerate, and thoughtful with our family, but she was also professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in her care of our dad. She also had apparent good camaraderie with the staff I saw her interact with. There was actually one day when Dad came back from a cardiac Cath procedure. Madison and another nurse were verbally arm wrestling over who was going to get Dad moved back into bed and settled! Dad had the biggest chuckle when I said it had been a really long time since two women had fought over taking care of him - everybody laughed, and it made the return from a scary situation very charming! Thank you so much, Madison for always taking the time to thoroughly answer our questions. We are so grateful for the excellent and kind care you provided our Dad! God bless you!
