At the time I was admitted, I knew I was where I needed to be, however, at the same time I was anxious, concerned, and uncertain of what my future held. The first night I was admitted, Madison came in and introduced herself to me, along with the other nurses who would take part in my care that evening. She eased my fears and was the most caring and professional nurse that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was thoughtful, considerate, passionate about her work, and had a most pleasant personality. I never saw Madison when she wasn't smiling, and as soon as she walked into my room, my mood was immediately brighter. She went above and beyond normal patient care, promptly handling my requests/calls for help and answering my questions with patience and empathy. I firmly believe that she showed all her patients the same kind of devotion that she would have shown to a family member or close friend.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Nurse Madison White.  She went over and beyond just treating her patient. She was considerate, thoughtful, and kind, and made sure you had what you needed, whether it was ice and water, a light snack, or help getting to and from the bathroom. When I called, she responded almost immediately. She also treated my husband with the same respect that she showed to me.

I appreciate that Madison always came in to tell me she was leaving and to let me know which nurse would be taking her place for the day or night. Nurse Madison was a bright ray of sunshine in a somewhat stressful situation, and for that, I will forever be grateful to her. Her contribution to Franklin Memorial Carillion brings significant value that goes beyond the job description, making her an essential part of the hospital's success and the quality of care provided.

You are, indeed, blessed to have Madison White. She deserves this award, and she will also be my DAISY!
