My husband suffered a heart attack and was transferred to St. Joseph in London for Emergency Cardiac Care. Madison took over his care shortly after he came to the ICU from the Cardiac Cath Lab. She was just what he needed. Her knowledge, quick response, compassion, and sense of humor put him at ease quickly. Madison engages the patient and his/her family. While my husband didn’t require a great deal of specialized care after his cath and heart attack, we were grateful to be kept up with his condition, treatment, medication changes, and what we might expect. Her quick appropriate humor helped ease our anxiety. We will forever be grateful for having her care and support during a very frightening and stressful time. She is an asset to your hospital! My husband wants to add that if all nurses were like Madison, being sick would be a lot easier.
