Madison was caring for a patient in one of our COVID Units at WMC. This patient was at the end of their life. The patient's family was sitting in the parking lot. Madison set up a FaceTime on her phone so the family could be with the patient "virtually" during this time. Madison stayed after her shift had ended to hold the patient's hand while they passed away, so they would not die alone. Moments like this truly highlight what an extraordinary and compassionate nurse that Madison is.
