ICU had a patient with three family members bedside that went to comfort care and was trying to get the patient to a hospice house. Unfortunately the patient was so ill, we realized [the patient] might not make it to the hospice house and all the patient wanted to drink was red Gatorade. Our café did not have that color. Instead of getting the patient another color Madisyn Hansen went to the closest store, bought the patient the red Gatorade and brought it to the patient so the family could stay bedside with the patient and the patient still got the one thing the patient wanted.
