CPT MAE-ANNE P CARDONA NC is presently assigned at Wallace Air Station Medical Infirmary (WASMI) 585th ABG, AIBDC since 16 February 2019, Prior her assignment in WASMI, she was assigned in Air Force General Hospital (AFGH) from 01 May 2018- 15 February 2023. From 01 July 2022 to 31 January 2023, she was the head nurse of Isolation Facility 3 (IF3), composed of Suite and Deluxe ward, Intensive Care Unit and Medical Ward. During her stint as head nurse of IF3, she was also the administrative and personnel officer of AFGH Nursing Service, effective 01 December 2022. Moreover, CPT CARDONA NC was deployed in Jolo under Joint Task Force Jolo from 01 September 2019 to 31 October 2019 and on detached service status in Fernando Air Base Hospital (FABH) from 01 March 2021 to 31 August 2021. Subject Officer is also a graduate of Master of Arts in Nursing.

Subject Officer performs her duties and responsibilities diligently and professionally. She also displays deep concern to the welfare of her staff and of clients under her care and enthusiasm in her assigned tasks. Aside from being a clinician, CPT CARDONA NC performs aeromedical evacuation (AME) where she handled and encountered various cases, but, the most challenging of all AME performed in her life is when she became part of the S7 team during the C130 Mishap last July 2021, which is considered to be the biggest tragedy in the Philippine Military Aviation history. Who would have thought that it is a mission to save lives which involves not just her colleagues, but also dear friends. It was unthinkable. CPT CARDONA NC was in EAABH when that happened Subject Officers together with other members of the aeromedical team of EAABH were the first to help via Nomad to Fly to Jolo. The smell of burnt skin surrounds the aircraft. Their world turned upside down and heartbreaking news started to sink in, but said officer demonstrated composure and grace to function well and to save more lives.
