When I began chemotherapy I was very anxious. I had never had such a serious diagnosis and did not know what to expect. Fortunately, nurse Maegan Webb became my dedicated guide for the entire chemo experience. She was perfect for me because she is very calm as well as experienced.
On the first day, she guided me through several steps, re-assuring me appropriately. She could calmly tell me what to expect and was very comforting at all times. She made me comfortable in a quiet room and often asked if I needed anything to eat, drink or increase my warmth. I am very grateful that she was with me for almost every aspect of my chemotherapy experience.
The professional staff members who work at the MetroHealth Cancer Center are very special people. They are knowledgeable while maintaining caring, supportive, demeanors. I think that Maegan Webb and others go beyond the call of duty. I know that Maegan Webb will continue to help many other cancer patients and I am glad that she is there!
