Magda has made such an impact on our family during the time she cared for our father/Papa. Our first time meeting Magda was when she came in and joined our prayer circle prior to Papa going to surgery. Throughout the day, she visited the ICU waiting room to provide updates on the progress of his procedure and education/what to expect post-op, as well as answering questions and providing support and encouragement to the family. As soon as Papa became alert, he reached to her for comfort and reassurance. Her unfailing support kept him calm and made him feel well cared for. She continually remained a strong patient advocate throughout his stay so our papa got the best possible care. Her devotion was unfailing. We always felt we could trust Magda as she gave us realistic expectations and never gave us false hope. She helped us set realistic expectations after our Papa's surgery. Our entire family believes Magda is an asset to the hospital and ICU. She has become more than a nurse to us. She is family.
