Magdalena came in on her day off (her vacation day nonetheless) to come in and help place a mid-line access port. Within three days I have had nineteen IV starts attempted on me. My skin is so fragile and brittle and bruised now. Maggie has shown that she truly cares by going above and beyond her necessary duties through coming in to ensure that the care I receive as a patient is exceptional. I don't know very many people that would give up their vacation time for a complete stranger.
Maggie is truly a blessing and AdventHealth NSB should feel very proud to have her on their nursing staff ICU team. Maggie is a true angel on earth. I was terrified and had absolutely no idea what to expect. Maggie was my calm, saving grace. She calmed my fears by being upfront and honest about what to expect before the procedure.
As we began, she kept me grounded and relaxed. Her light jokes and warm smile were a welcomed calming presence throughout the whole procedure. She was calm, cool, collected. And, just radiated positivity.

Maggie came in on her day off (while on vacation) to put in a midline for one of our patients who had been waiting 7+ hours due to a mix-up with other staff. The patient teared up when I updated her that she would finally get her midline. This patient is a nurse as well. Maggie is always so helpful to our floor when we need her. Thank you, Maggie, for all you do for our staff and our patients. We appreciate you more than you know.
