Despite a rather traumatic birthing experience, Magda was my rock throughout the whole process. I was lucky enough to have her as my nurse 2 days in a row, and I truly could not have done it without her. From her knowledge and expertise guiding me through my treatment during the labor process (different positions to help with dilation), to her warmth and attentiveness during the most stressful of situations, I could not have asked for a better nurse. Magda was so great at calming my nerves as a first-time mom and explaining everything to my husband and me in a way that just made sense. When I experienced a postpartum hemorrhage quickly after delivery, Magda was there to make sure I had everything I needed and helped make sure I stayed as comfortable as possible. As a healthcare worker myself, I understand the challenges that come with working in direct patient care. Despite these challenges, it is amazing to know that there are incredible nurses like Magda whose passion, expertise, and kindness are making a true positive impact on others.
