On many occasions, I have seen Magdalena educating patients on how to manage their specific condition. She is thorough and makes the patient feel comfortable; if the patient seems confused she explains again and again until she herself knows that the patient understands. She is extremely supportive and compassionate. I've seen her cry shoulder to shoulder with a patient who might have just lost her baby. The results of her compassion are always positive; the patients walk away with a sense of caring, not only on a professional, but also on a personal and emotional level. She is knowledgeable and reliable; the physicians with whom she works know that she is extremely capable of managing their patients according to their specific plan of care. Patients clearly love Magdalena and she truly deserves recognition.
