Maggie is a novice RN but has the poise of a veteran nurse on the floor. Maggie has stepped into a nightshift charge nurse role. One particular night exemplified this when Maggie stepped in to help another newer nurse during a rapid response. This nurse is rather soft spoken. A physician was asking several questions during the rapid. Maggie sensed the nurse's nervousness and stepped in to help. Thanks to Maggie’s leadership and advocacy, the patient was transferred to the ICU for closer monitoring. Maggie is moving out of town soon, and this will be a big loss for the 2N team.
