Magdaline confided that she was new to the job, but she is a powerhouse of knowledge and compassion. She asked questions about G’s medical history as she wanted to increase her knowledge of him, and I obliged. She certainly had empathy, but was completely able and confident to do a great job. I loved talking with her as her comprehension was excellent, and she gave me really good insight into some situations that I hadn’t understood when they’d happened. I’m very glad she’ll be his nurse all weekend. She is definitely one of the best nurses on your staff and deserves recognition.
