I nominate Maggie for the exceptional care she provided for me. After surgery, my skin was so sensitive and irritated from the surgical tape. When I talked with Maggie about this, I shared what other nurses have done which didn't really work that well for me. Maggie used a big surgical dressing, held in place by a pair of mesh underpants. That was amazing that that was what my skin needed to heal.

Maggie was my nurse multiple times during my stay. I shared with her my love of nature and she shared she loved nature as well. One day, she realized I was feeling pretty down. She asked me if I would like to go outside for a while. How did she know that was what I needed? She got a wheelchair and took me outside on a beautiful day. She was amazing!
