Maggie was pulled from her floor to ICU. She ended up taking care of a very sick patient who was in need of being transported out soon. Maggie has previous ICU experience and it showed. She rode with the patient down to Tallahassee via EMS. Maggie is extremely compassionate to her patients, family members, and coworkers. We truly appreciate all of her hard work on this busy day.

Maggie was floated to ICU to help us out because we were short a nurse. One of her patients declined very quickly and became the sickest patient in the unit. Maggie never lost her stride. We all jumped in to help assist in her needs to stabilize the patient. The patient ended up being transferred to another facility. Air Evac couldn't fly due to the weather conditions which meant that a nurse and an RRT now had to ride with the patient. Maggie, without hesitation, said that she would go with the patient and take care of them. Maggie did not return until late that night nor did she have lunch during the day. The best part of the whole situation was she never lost her smile or compassion. Maggie was an exceptional nurse today!
