Maggie is truly one of a kind and an extraordinary leader. In my almost 10 years of practice have never seen a clinic run so smoothly. This is largely in part to the groundwork that Maggie has put into her team. She is thoughtful and kindhearted in her feedback, understanding and compassionate when life gets challenging, approachable, friendly, and is always the first to volunteer to help when the clinic gets busy, and is always present but never overbearing.

Not only that, but when infusion time runs over and someone needs to stay late, Maggie is always here to ensure we are supported. She even returned to work just days after an unplanned major surgery to ensure we were supported. She has truly created an environment of mutual respect and trust. When she is assisting with patients in the clinic, the compassion and exemplary care she gives to anyone under her care sets such a wonderful example to others.

Her friendly smile, thoroughness, and compassionate care make her a phenomenal role model and leader. A few months ago, she orchestrated a Happy Birthday sing-along and balloon to one of our long-time patients who was feeling a bit down in the dumps due to failing health. This small act of kindness made such an impact on everyone. As such, our team here at the Cancer Center works as a family unit. This atmosphere not only supports her strong staff retention rate, but also our very high patient satisfaction and safety scores.
