December 2011 Honoree
maggie olson, RN
REQUESTED PHOTO JPG.
Maggie is very deserving of the DAISY award, according to the patient who nominated her. “While at the Roger Maris Cancer Center, I found out I had multiple Melanoma and that my kidneys shut down. Maggie, who happened to work almost every day of my stay, helped me receive and absorb the bad news. Maggie was always professional but most importantly, she was first a human being reaching out to another. I will never forget her.”

Thank you, Maggie, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
